Filmmakers
We have worked with Filmmakers throughout our nearly 40-year history, helping Producers deliver their films to networks, film festivals and streaming services. Many seek us out after reaching picture lock, relying upon our expertise in online editing, color correction, sound design and mix to take their project across the finish line. We can also help guide you throughout the production and post production process, ensuring that you make decisions along the way that streamline delivery. We’re experts at deciphering delivery specifications.
Delivering programming to PBS is one of our specialties. If you’re early in the production process, you may not know exactly what part of the PBS ecosystem will be a good fit for your show, but you’ll need to answer a number of questions no matter what PBS entity you end up working with.
- What total run time (TRT) is acceptable?
- Does your program require a ratings bug?
- What logos need to be attached at the end of the credits?
We can help you answer these questions (and more). While we often work with Producers to provide final finishing on programs going to PBS, we can also start once a Producer has a flattened ProRes .mov or .mxf of the final program with stereo full mix on channels 1&2. From there, we prep the program for delivery, conduct a thorough quality control evaluation (QC), and upload final deliverables to our FTP site or another site as required.

A DCP, or Digital Cinema Package, is often required to deliver films to film festivals and digital theaters. DVD and Blu-Ray authoring and encoding services still have a place in today’s media landscape too, particularly for delivering programs to film festivals. We have experts on staff that can help with your DCP, DVD or Blu-ray project.
